Sixteen years operational and project delivery experience as a senior executive in both private and public corrections following a 22 year career as a professional soldier retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. Extensive demonstrated experience in operations, planning, project management and large scale change management, including the, design, finance, delivery and operation of correctional and administrative detention facilities and services.

Project Director for the transition of the Auckland Central Remand Prison back to Government control. Overall responsibility for the Junee Correctional Centre refurbishment project. 2004 to 2005 Project Director for the transition of 6 Detention Facilities to a new operator over 3 months. Dec 2003 to Feb 2004 Acting Managing Director GEO Australia Dec 2002 to July 2003 As Project Director in the UK restored a failing related company Prison and had the Home Office lift the default rectification notice. Sep 2002 to Oct 2002 Project Director for the construction, commissioning and operational start up of the Kutama-Sinthumule Maximum Security Prison in the Republic of South Africa. This 3024 bed facility was designed, constructed and opened in 18 months. 2001 to 2002 Responsible on behalf of GEO for ensuring the delivery of infrastructure and operational start-up of contingency detention centres with over 3000 beds to meet the rapid increase in detainee numbers. 1999 to 2000
